Research Manager/Senior Research Manager
Location: Hybrid Or Remote Working
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £38k-54k DOE
What is the role?
We are looking for organised and motivated individuals to join our Market Research team. The key purpose of the role is to manage the delivery of multiple market research (MR) projects to ensure the design, day-to-day project management, analysis, and reporting meet the research objectives and client needs. To develop and maintain client relationships leading to repeat business and contribute to proposal development.
As Research Manager/Senior Research Manager you will:
Manage the delivery of multiple primary MR projects.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a pharmaceutical market research agency
- Demonstrate experience and knowledge of a broad range of MR methodologies and techniques, including more advanced or complex approaches
- Demonstrate knowledge of the therapy area on each project to apply to research materials and findings, and to enable credible discussion with clients. Start to develop expertise within specific therapy areas
- Demonstrate knowledge of the pharma industry by putting research findings into the broader context of the client’s business situation
- Lead internal and participates in external project meetings. Acts as the primary point of contact for clients in relation to the day-to-day project management. Participates in client discussions related to objectives, design/ methodology, and research findings
- Be responsible for end-to-end project management, ensuring all project components and tasks are allocated and completed according to timelines.
Support business/account management and gain repeat business from pharma clients:
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals in response to RFPs to meet objectives with the input and guidance of a director
- Develop and maintain relationships with established clients to gain repeat business
Deliver effective line management:
- Follow the defined HR processes and deliver the defined management conversations, including regular one-to-ones and appraisals
- Motivate individuals to achieve the set company cornerstones, standards, and behaviours
- Enable line reports development through identifying and supporting personal development
- Identifies opportunities to manage workload and support wellbeing.

Recruitment process
- 1st stage: Informal discussion to check mutual fit
- 2nd stage: Formal interview with completion of a pre-task. Followed by an informal discussion to meet some of the team members for the candidate to run a Q&A and get a feel for the company & culture
